After a session with Milan, in which I got to the conclusion that all releasing is just dealing with what's for you in the NOW moment, I got to this simple conclusion about the 6 steps:
They just are.
There's a reason why there's not much explanation on them, how to use them, what do they mean, etc. In fact, the less one reads or hears about them from an external source, the better.
So what do you do with them? Nothing really, just possess them in your pocket or in your head and allow them to be there - and also allow yourself to examine them or not.
What do they mean when they say that one of the steps is "off"? Nothing really. "off" is just a feeling. If you feel "off" about one of them, release that. If their presence or non-presence bother you in some way, release that. If you feel stuck about one of them, release that.
They might stir up completely different feelings and meanings for different people. For me, as an example, the first step stirs a desire to have an intention for life instead of sleepwalking - and also a desire to accept reality as it is and let go of illusions and fantasies. It might also stir up the fact the you tried to use the method in order to get something or control the circumstances. In any way, notice what's in there for YOU. Remember, you are going for YOUR freedom, YOUR beingness, not Lester's, Hale's or Larry's or anyone else for that matter.
In the end, they're just 6 sentences that you may examine from time to time. If they stir you up in some way or another - a feeling, a want, a stuckness, wanting to figure out what to do with them, they've done their job.
The same way things and people in your life stir up feelings to be released, these 6 steps do that too. By the way, releasing on the feelings that they stir up is great for your releasing - that's why they were written.
